Graskop
After collection from your hotel, travel through the little town of Graskop for a stop at Berlin Falls. Likened to the shape of a candle, the Berlin Falls cascade from the centre of a sheer cliff that stand roughly 80m tall. Continue onto Lisbon Falls. Named after the Capital of Portugal, this waterfall lies in the Lisbon Creek just north of Graskop and towers over 94m making it the highest waterfall in the Mpumalanga Province and the second tallest in South Africa. Most of the waterfalls situated in Mpumalanga received their names from miners who ventured to South Africa from Europe during the gold rush, and named each waterfall in the region after their home towns, or places from their home countries. After taking in the sheer beauty of these falls, continue on to The Three Rondavels.

The Three Rondavels
The Three Rondavels are an ancient geological formation and offer spectacular views over the Blyde River Canyon. Shaped like traditional African beehive huts, the Three Rondavels form three pinnacles of rock rising above the canyon and the lookout point is widely considered one of the finest in South Africa. Drink in the dramatic views before proceeding back south along the route to the Bourkes Luck Potholes.

Bourkes Luck Potholes
This incredible water feature marks the beginning of the Blyde River Canyon and is the result of decades of swirling water where the Treur River meets the Blyde River, the tumult of which has caused extensive water erosion over time. This fascinating formation was named after the famous prospector, Tom Bourke, who correctly predicted the presence of gold in the area, though he found none himself. Continue on to Gods Window.
-
Gods Window
This popular viewing point along the Drakenburg escarpment and has become world renowned for the incredible views offered by the sheer cliffs that drop over 700m into the Eden-like Lowveld which prompted the name, Gods Window. One a clear day, it is possible to see over the expanse of the Kruger National Park and towards the Lebombo Mountains on the boarder of Mozambique and when the valley is covered in low-lying clouds, its appears as if one is standing on the edge of the world. After enjoying the spectacular and humbling views at Gods Window, continue back to Graskop where the tour will stop for lunch at one of the restaurants in town.
